Lothar Walther / 3GPP RAN2 Delegate ; Rohde & Schwarz
Lothar Walther is a delegate for Rohde & Schwarz to the 3GPP RAN2 and SA2 working groups. In this role he supports the further evolution of the 5G New Radio communications standard and the development of related test products. Before his current role he was a trainer covering LTE and 5G communications standards, test challenges and related test solutions. Lothar has more than 25 years of experience in the field of telecommunications. Before joining Rohde & Schwarz he was in various positions at Nokia Siemens Networks, Siemens, and tfk. Lothar holds an MSc. in physics from the University of Würzburg, Germany and the Northeastern University, Boston, USA..
